Cappella Presents 'Messiah' This Weekend

Handel’s Messiah will be presented by Cappella Cantorum on Sat. Dec. 5, at 8 p.m. and Sun. Dec. 6 at 3 p.m. in the beautiful acoustics of St. Mark R.C. Church, 222 McVeagh Rd., Westbrook. 

The 100 voice chorus, with professional chamber orchestra and soloists will be directed by Barry Asch.  Soloists are Soprano-Mireille Asselin, Mezzo Soprano–Chrystal Williams, Tenor–Eric Barry and Bass–Jeremy Bowes.

Tickets are $20 for seniors and $18 for students.  Tickets are available at Celebrations, Deep River; Homeworks, Old Saybrook; The Turning Page, Old Lyme; and Stewart’s Music, Niantic or call 860-767-8452. 

A reception will follow the Sunday performance.

Cappella Cantorm is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization.
