'Photos & Objects' Opens at Birdsall

There will be an opening reception tomorrow, Saturday Nov. 21, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the diane birdsall gallery, 10 Lyme St. Old Lyme for Photographs and Objects: Joyce Seymore and Dawn Wain.

All are welcome.  Refreshments will be served.

Seymore uses large-format photographs to portray a single fern or blossom in all its perfection, suggesting exquisite Asian–like mystique.

Dawn Wain chooses bone, artifact, gemstone, crystal and rare shell to weave her jewelry into extraordinary one-of a kind adornment saying,  “When women wear my jewelry I want them to know they are sensual, beautiful, connected and whole.”  An example of her jewelry is shown at left.
