Vincent Joseph Democh Sr. 11/06/09

Vincent Joseph Democh Sr. of Lyme passed from this life on Nov. 6, 2009.

Born in New London, he was a U.S. Coast Guard veteran of World War II and a lifetime member of Union Local 24 of United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America. He resided in Lyme and Big Pine Key, Fla.
Vincent was predeceased by his wife of 50 years, Alice (Piolunek) Democh.
He is survived by his sister, Gladys Bellucci Roberts of Niantic; daughters, Reggie Dmoch of Virginia Beach,Va., Valarie Russo of East Greenwich, R.I., Rhonda Martin of Wells, Maine; and son, Vincent Democh Jr. of Florida. He is also survived by six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers, please send donations to your local Hospice.
