Coffee Scores Her 1000th Point in Record Time
On Monday night, Feb. 12, junior Calli Coffee went into the record books at Lyme-Old Lyme High School when she scored her 1,000th point. She was the seventh girl in the school's history to reach this landmark, but far and away, the fastest. The gym was packed for the game against the North Branford Thunderbirds, which the Wildcats won 53-45, and after the game, Calli was presented with the game ball by coach Don Bugbee and the delighted crowd continued to celebrate Calli's success.
