LOL Junior Women Donate Over $30K to Local Non-Profits, Scholarships The Lyme-Old Lyme Junior Women’s Club has announced that the 2009 JW Art Show and Benefit Sale was both an artistic and a financial success. The proceeds from the Art Show, as well as the group's additional yearly fundraising efforts, exceeded $30,000. Runners Brave Weather to Compete in 2nd Annual April Fool's Race Inclement weather did not deter runners from competing in Literacy Volunteers Valley Shore's (LVVS) second annual April Fool's Backwards Mile Race and 5K Run/Walk, held Sunday March 29. Sixty runners, aged 5 to 78, braved the weather to have fun, support the cause of literacy, and vie for an April Fool's hat.
