Essex Savings Bank Recycles Income to Non-profits
Essex Savings Bank has announced that non-profit community organizations will receive $106,000 from the Directors’ portion of the Bank’s Community Investment Program.  The Bank, which has an office in Old Lyme, annually commits 10% of its after tax net income to qualifying organizations. Aliki Foods, LLC (“Aliki”) of Old Lyme announced Tuesday (Oct. 9) that it was voluntarily recalling one of its frozen food products, but it is unlikely that many containers reached consumers.
