Inaugural Road Race Event Attracts Runners Galore The first "Artistry in Motion" event sponsored by the Lyme-Old Lyme Education Foundation was held Saturday. Comprising a one-mile Fun Run, a 5K walk, and a 5K run, entrants came from a wide variety of locations in the state and spanned the generations. OL Rower Strikes Gold in World Championships Old Lyme's Andrew Bolton was a member of the U.S. lightweight men’s eight, which won the gold medal in the final day of competition at the 2008 FISA World Rowing Senior and Junior Championships in Linz, Austria, on Sunday. Wildcats in Both Shoreline Soccer Finals Both the Wildcat boys and girls soccer teams play in their respective Shoreline Conference finals tonight at Portland High School. So Near and Yet So Suffield The Wildcats twice had victory in their sights when they played Suffield Wednesday evening in the CIAC Division 2 semifinal in West Haven. After thinking they had levelled the score at the start of the second half, the referee disallowed the equalizing goal.
