The Lyme-Old Lyme boy's team advanced to the semifinals of the state tournament with a 3-0 win over Tourtellotte Friday afternoon at Town Woods Park in Old Lyme. Inaugural Road Race Event Attracts Runners Galore
The first "Artistry in Motion" event sponsored by the Lyme-Old Lyme Education Foundation was held Saturday. Comprising a one-mile Fun Run, a 5K walk, and a 5K run, entrants came from a wide variety of locations in the state and spanned the generations. Wildcats in Both Shoreline Soccer Finals
Both the Wildcat boys and girls soccer teams play in their respective Shoreline Conference finals tonight at Portland High School. The girls kick off at 5 p.m. against last year's Class S state champions Cromwell, while the boys take on Morgan of Clinton with a 7:30 p.m. start time. 11/01 Update: Sadly, both teams were defeated. Wildcats Meet Crowell in State Semi-Final Tonight
After dominating their two previous opponents in the Class S state tournament, Marc Vendetti's boys face some tough opposition tonight in the form of Cromwell. LOL Wins District 10 ... Again! Now Playing in Regionals

Wildcats Grab Gritty Victory
The Old Lyme girls faced their stiffest opposition of the season to date Monday meeting the Haddam-Killingworth Cougars on their home court. Both teams were unbeaten in conference play prior to the game. Old Lyme ultimately won 52-45 extending their unbeaten run to 14 games. Read More ...

So Near and Yet So Suffield
The Wildcats twice had victory in their sights when they played Suffield Wednesday evening in the CIAC Division 2 semifinal in West Haven. After thinking they had levelled the score at the start of the second half, the referee disallowed the equalizing goal. And later, the girls closed in again, bringing the score to within two goals, but, despite their best efforts, the net remained elusive, sending Suffield to the final with an 8:5 win. Read More ...

Yesterday afternoon, the Lyme-Old Lyme boy's lacrosse team lost 13-12 to Weston in overtime after a thrilling Division 2 quarterfinal game.
